Daughters of the American Colonists

California State Society

The National Society of DAC has ten chapters in California. Information about each chapter can be read by selecting from the list.  Each chapter has a registrar who is a good genealogist, and is prepared to help any applicant with her membership application.

National Society Daughters of the American Colonists
Torrey Pines Chapter

The Torrey Pines Chapter was organized on November 18, 1954. Currently the chapter has 32 members. Our members are from all over San Diego County as well as other counties and states.

Local residency is not a requirement for membership in any chapter.

The Torrey Pines Chapter meets on the third Friday in the months of Sept, Nov, Feb and May. We currently meet virtually and plan to resume in-person events in San Diego's Mission Valley.

Meetings include a speaker and luncheon following the business meeting. If you would like to attend one of our meetings, please contact us.

We welcome any woman for membership who is a citizen of the United States of America, of good moral character, who has attained her eighteenth year. Information on membership in the National Society Daughters of the American Colonists can be found here.
