Daughters of the American Colonists

California State Society

The National Society of DAC has ten chapters in California. Information about each chapter can be read by selecting from the list.  Each chapter has a registrar who is a good genealogist, and is prepared to help any applicant with her membership application.

National Society Daughters of the American Colonists
San Francisco Bay Chapter

The San Francisco Bay Chapter was organized on January 21, 1931. Currently, the chapter has 34 members. Most members are from the local area; however, some members are from other areas, as well. Local residency is not a requirement for membership in any chapter.

The San Francisco Bay Chapter meets on the fourth Saturday of January, April, and October at 11:00 a.m. Meetings include a speaker and No Host luncheon and are arranged within the San Francisco Bay Area. If you would like to attend one of our meetings, please contact us.

We welcome any woman for membership who is a citizen of the United States of America, of good moral character, who has attained her eighteenth year. Information on membership in the National Society Daughters of the American Colonists can be found here.
